Running XP with 4 user profiles. Office 2003 keeps doing a continual
re-install under one profile. Remaining 3 function fine.

When this happens to me, I just delete the Windows XP user profile after
backing up whatever data I want to keep that is stored under \documents and
settings\<userid>.

I have this same problem.. I did delete the profile and I have the same
problem. When I make the user an admin, the problem goes away.

I got same problem on win2k pro machine with office xp sbe. deleting the
user doesn't fix the problem for the user now does it! how about a real fix
so the user can be able use office on the machine? amazing how every other
product works fine!
