can i install office 2003 on my server at home so that all members of the
family can access this application individually without having to install on
all workstations that are connected to the network

But Open Office will do it.

But Open Office will do it.
If you insist on MS Office and you have (I think it's) Windows
Terminal Server and have bought enough licenses for Office, you might
be able to do this, but I've never tried.
