Office Pro 2003 will not Open

Got a new computer and installed my Office 2003 Pro and it woked until last
week. I have always gotten to updayes, just so you know.

Now when I go to use it a scareen pops up saying something to the effect
that a patch can't open and to make sure that I have the patch. Duh?I have
even tried to uninstall Office to reload it but can't.

I'm a very basic computer user so if you have afix please make it clear what
I need to do to correct this issue. If you can please send instructions to
