Office Re-Install

Recently, I had to uninstall MS Office, Students & Teacher
Edition. This cleared up a lot of Outlook "slow" problems.
On reinstalling, the install went well.
Then, when I tried to use MS Word, I was asked for my key
code, which I promptly typed in.
It was rejected. This is a legitimate purchase.
I do not know why it is rejecting my key code.
