Office repair question

Hi -

I have Office 2003 Pro installed with SP1 and all current Office Updates.

If I do a repair of Office, will I 'lose' any updates, etc that SP1 and
OfficeUpdate applied since the original install? Sometimes I have to run a
repair of Office prior to installing some OfficeUpdates. Otherwise they
fail to install.

Hi Mike,

When you install Office updates on your PC
a copy of the update is then cached (stored)
on the PC so it can be reused by the Office
program during a repair, feature change or
repair/reinstall. You won't lose the updates
during those processes unless you've manually,
or through one of the 'cleanup' 3rd party programs
removed some of the cached files from the hard drive.
