Hi,
I have a Vista x 64 Ultimate workstation connected to a SBS2K3 server and
running Office 2007 Enterprise.
The problem I have is when trying to 'save as' from a network location in
any of the office programs, I get an error saying that the path and filename
cannot be found! I am then forced to save to my desktop, browse using
Network icon to the location on the server nad then cut and paste the
document to the server.
If the server could not be found then I wouldn't be able to browse and then
cut and paste it there....if I didn't have permisions set correctly then the
same would apply and as for filename, I thoiught the whole idea of 'save as'
was that you specify the filename you want.
This does not happen if i open a text document and do the same thing, only
when using Office programs....
Any help would be great, I have applied Vista updates to the SBS server and
Vista is completely up to date also as is office as far as I can see.
