Office Source Engine (2003)

I installed Office 2003 earlier this month. Zone Alarm periodically
notifies me that Office Source Engine is attempting to access the local
network. Not knowing what OSE wants to do and if it really needs to do
it, I just click on "no", but not "never".

What is the OSE and why does it want to access the network? Can I say
"never" without any problems? Or is there another way to keep it from
wanting to do this?

WinXP Pro
