Office student and teacher edition 2003 and Windows ME.

I am having a problem installing this edition of office
on a computer using Windows ME.

The error message says that I need a later version of
windows ....Is there a way of installing this version of
Office or should I take it back to the shop?

The Office package specifies Windows 2000 SP-3 or Windows XP? Since you do
not have either version, yes, I would try to take it back to the retailer
for a refund.

Look like you are a very direct person.......On the box it
says Win 2000 or later........but after the horrible
experience I have had trying to install it...I think I
will take your advice (with thanks) and get it back to the
shop.

No retailer will accept back opened software - and especially not when it's
the purchaser's fault! Had you bothered to undertake even a modicum of
research, you wouldn't have wasted your money!
