Where is the Office toolbar, that sits on the desktop for Office 2004 - I
dont seem to be able to find one

You mean Office 2003? I think they dropped that a while ago - not sure.
However, you have a Quick Launch toolbar in Windows, right? A much better
option all around.

Also, if you are using XP with the new interface, not the classic interface,
you can go to Start > All Programs / Mouse over the application you want /
right click / 'Pin to Start Menu' / Repeat.

I did this for all my Office applications and now they are right on the star
menu, just like they were on the tool bar.

Perhaps "Help", "Office Shortcut Bar" would give assistance, or posting
in the microsoft.public.mac newsgroup may get more info.
