I have tried to download Office 2003 update four
different times and always get the "Installation
Unsuccessful" as the installation result. I have sent
emails 3 time to msoft and never heard a thing. lt says
below the installation unsuccessful note:
pffoce 2003 critical update KBB 28041
word 2003 update KBB30000 and office XP service pack 2
any suggestions?

Get the redistribution version of the updates and install them manually
instead of using Office Update. I've had the same thing happen, and
like you, I don't know why. But if you download the service pack and
install it manually, it then works.
