Office Upgrade / Works

Is it safe to uninstall Works once I have upgraded to Office 2003 and activated it

I needed Works for the Upgrade but now that Office is working I'd like to free up the 300 MB on my hard drive that Works is taking up.

YOu do not need to install Works for the upgrade to be valid. All you need
to do is "show" the CD to the Office installation during the installation.
Once it has verified your eligibility, take the Works CD out of the drive,
put back in the Office CD and continue the installation.
