Office XP for Student & Teacher will not install

I have windows xp home edition. Each time I try to
install office xp it does not recognize D: . The drive
is opreational.????

Hi Ken,

Have you shut down all running software/utilties/antivirus?
Are you logged in as the administrator?
Are you getting a specific error message?
Is D: your CD ROM drive or a partition on your hard drive?
