Help! Can someone explain the following?
I have Office XP for students and teachers. When I open Word, Outlook, Excel or PowerPoint and go to Help, About Microsoft Outlook, Word, etc. The version listed is 2002(10.4712.4219)SP-2. Why is the version listed as 2002 and not XP?

Hi, Terri,

The application ("Word") version is 2002. The version of the suite
("Office") is called XP. Don't worry--that's how it's supposed to be.
