Office XP -- Outlook Problem

I have Office XP installed and I am having problems with Outlook. I have
configured my inbox rules to place emails into specified folders in my
inbox. My problem : each time I start Outlook I have to reconfigure my
rules. Why are my rule being lost ? Any suggestions ?
