Office XP Problems

Hi Matthew,

If you have an Office11 folder that would indicate that
you had/have installed MS Office System 2003 (v11) over
or with Office XP(2003). What MS Office programs are
listed in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel?

If your program was installed from a CD or a network server
and you need to repair or reinstall you'll need access to
that installation media.

==========
OFFICE11 is the folder I tried to run the applications from, but it had that
error. There are no shortcuts to the program on the system anywhere, except
in the program files (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11) But I
tried going to the Office11 folder and got the same error. Maybe the
software is faulty? >>

You will need original CDs (or backup CDs) to REPAIR your installation of Office XP. Why don't you no longer have the Setup files? Did you manage to download this from Kazaa or Warez websites? If so then you will need to download again and this time make sure you have created proper installation CDs.

Hope this helps.

I cannot re-install the files, because I no longer have the Setup files.

--
I use non Microsoft products wherever possible which requires no activation.

I use Netscape 7.2 as my default browser which has everything I need for my work.

I believe in good Financial Management!! I do not believe in enriching rich jerks!

I have the same error message. I have a partitioned hd with XP Pro on my
c-drive and all my files and programs on another. The thing is, the second
partition used to be f-drive but when i reformatted the c-drive and
reinstalled windows, it changed to the d-drive. All of my other programs work
fine but office gives me this message. Seems a little odd that office would
refuse to work because the path name changed when everything else does. Now
if only my office cds had been with my windows cds like i thought they were...
