I was trying to update from 2000k to xp but the file
MSGR-3EN.DLL was not found and as such the installation
was interupted. who could help me out.
Any help whatsoever would be appreciated.

Could you post back with the text of any error message you're getting,
including any error number? Also would help to know what version of Office
2000 and what version of Office XP you have.
