Office xp Professional won't install

we upgraded to a new computer. When trying to reload all of our
programs....specifically Office XP professional, it says it is setup
successfully but I can't find it. Is there a re-registration issue? Maybe
some kind of copy protection problem. We own the rights to the sotware and
registered it the last time it was installed on the old computer.

Does the same thing happen to other programs that are not Office? What
operating system are you running? Are you installing everything as the
administrator of the machine?
