Office XP update help

I have office xp installed on a server and I have created
a MST file to change the install setting. I would like to
know what I need to do to update the install files before
I deploy this version of office to the network users. I am
downloading the SP2 from MSweb site but when I execute the
file it gives me an error that XP is not installed on this
machine.

If you have any suggestions that would help.
PS. I know in the past you could update the Install files
(MSI) and that would path the application version. Let me
know if that is still an option.
