Hello,
I have a problem with toolbars which is manifesting itself in all
Office XP applications as well as Visual Studio 2003 and Visual Studio
2005, presumably because they all use the same DLL libraries to create
menus and toobars.
Here is a link to a small screen shot which should illustrate the
problem...

As you can see, the toolbars are exactly the same color as the menu,
whereas they should be shaded slighty lighter than the menu. Also, they
have that annoying dotted border around them.
I am running Windows XP with the default XP theme, and my display
settings are at 32 bit color (I have tried adjusting hardware
accelaration etc).
I've tried doing a Windows XP repair installation. I have completely
reinstalled Office XP, I have reinstalled IE6. I have almost given up
hope!
I'm inclined to think that the problem is something to do with the
Office shared components such as MSO.dll etc, but having done file
comparisons with another working system, I cannot find any suitable
differences.
I have spent the last few days googleing for an answer, but to be
honest I have not even found anyone else reporting the problem, let
alone providing an answer. Nonetheless I am convinced that someone must
have encountered this...
