Just a silly question. Can you tell me what version of IE shipped with the
original release of Office XP?

The folder on the Office XP Professional CD is labeled IE5. I think it is
IE 5.0, but I am not sure. Internet Explorer is part of Windows not Office.
The IE files are on the CD only to upgrade older versions of Internet
Explorer.
