OfficeXP - Where is the Shortcut Toolbar?

M

Mike

for some reason, when I look under Programs, Microsoft
Office Tools, I don't have an option for the Office
Shortcut Toolbar. Was it somethin I did during
installation? Any ideas?

Thanks!

The shortcut bar is an optional installation. If you did not install it, get
out your Office CD, use Add/Remove->Office XP, then click on Add. Make
everything unavailable (faster this way) then select Office Tools. Make the
OSB available and click on okay and it should install.

Support for the toolbar finally ended per Microsoft's docs
in Office 2003. Very sad since the Start button is slow
and clumsy. I keep using my toolbar from an older Office
butexpect problems with multiple releases. Already I go
through an installation setup every time I start Word.
That is what I am searching for now... a way to not have
that happen.

Are you serious? No more shortcut toolbar in Office 2003?
If so, I will NOT upgrade. Toolbar is the most used Office tool for me. Not
comparable to Start menu. I hope you are kidding.

The Toolbar is a goner. :-(
I also find it very sad, but found that after 2 days I was used to the quick
launch bar.
Office 2003 is just too good to let installation of it depend on this little
feature, however nice it is.
Besides.... fear of change is for . . .
We all know that change is the standard in today's world
