Offise 2000 setup

I am getting an error code when I try to install Off 2000
on a machine that had Off 97 previousley. The error is
Installer stopped prematurley followed by error code 2755
contact system support.

Any one got any ideas?

220780 - OFF2000: Setup Error 2755 with Earlier Office Version Installed:

If not, try this:

217714 - OFF2000: Setup Appears to Stop Responding, Followed by Internal
Error 2336 or 2755:
