Hello,
I had some 1000 Emails in Eudora and imported them via Outlook Express
(generates big DBX-Files) into Outlook 2000 - my PST is now approx.
480MB.
All folders are to see after I started Outlook2000, I can use all
things like calendar, Todo's and so on, but after approx 15 minutes I
cant use Notes and Todo's, then I get a messages like "you dont have
rights to use this procedure" (I dont know the exact text of the
message, because I use a german version of Outlook), other things like
receiving and sending Email work as usual.
When I, after I got one of these nice messages, stop my outlook (often
I've to kill the Outlook.exe process via taskmanager because it hangs)
and restart Outlook, then I can use all functions for a limited time
as mentioned above.
My System:
- Windows XP Professional, Service Release 1
- Office 2000, Service Release 1 and Service Pack 3, Outlook Fix for
100% CPU-Usage after Service Pack 3 is installed
- no server, the station runs "standalone" in Internet-Mode
- my user has Administrator-Rights
Who else has or has had a similar problem resp. knows a possible
solution ?
Because I'm not willing to go back to Eudora I think I will do almost
all to find a solution for my problem.
Please, I'm greatful for any tip or information which I can get for
this case.
thanks in advance and regards
Johannes
