OL2002 cannot find server (->No send/receive)

Outlook 2002 running on w2k.

Running the account settings test fails on an account that
has been working for months.

Find incoming email server = Cancelled
Find outgoing smtp server = Cancelled

Question is what cancelled the processes. What is the
damaged component.

Pinged the servers = Success
Authenticated access and logon using TELNET

Tried using EUDORA to isolate the problem = It worked.

What is wrong with OUTLOOK

Can anyone help me.

Create an additional profile in Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show
Profiles... and see if it works for that profile. If so it's most likely
that your current mail profile somehow got corruted.

Roady,

Thanks for the suggestion but I already tried that. I did
it again after receiving your suggestion but it doesnt
effect a solution. No change at all.
