OL2002 - cannot reply to Rich Text format messages

HI -
I'm running Exchange Server 2000 and using Outlook 2002.
After opening an e-mail sent to me in Rich Text format
(which is also what I use to compose messages), I cannot
reply or forward or anything. When I mouse over the
Reply, Forward, etc. options at the top of the email, I
cannot click on any of them.
