OL2003 cached mode not syncing back to server

Marshall

I am running Outlook 2003 (release version 11.5608.56.06) connected to
Exchange 2000 (6249.4 SP3) servers.

I find that "Cached Exchange Mode" does not sync back to the server.

Setup:
Two different PCs running Outlook 2003 connected to same mailbox account.
Both PCs in "Cached Exchange Mode" (connected via LAN to exchange server).

PC1 sees received mail (unread status).
PC2 sees received mail (unread status).

PC1 reads mail (read status).
PC2 still sees (unread status) <= PROBLEM

Full sync (F9) on either or both does not sync the two cached Outlooks.

When a message is moved on PC1 from inbox to another folder PC2 knows about
it immediately (the message is removed from PC2s inbox). But PC2 never sees
the message in the moved to folder (PROBLEM). Turning off "Cached Exchange
Mode" on PC1 completely loses the message that was moved (PROBLEM).

Big problem or am I using "Cached Exchange Mode" incorrectly?

Thanks for your help, Marshall.
