OL2003 lost feature?

Gman

We use to be able to create shortcuts to drive folders in the Outlook bar.
Users could drag and drop directly to the folder shortcut.
Not Outlook folders, mind you, but actual hard drive folders.
We can't find a way to do that in 2003. Are we missing something?

Thanks

This feature has been dropped. You can still directly drag & drop into a
Windows Explorer window though.

Why are features that people use and rely on dropped without notice?
Doesn't anyone at MS check to see what's being used before we find
out it's dropped in a release? If my company did business this way,
we'd be out of business.

With all due respect, doesn't anyone in your office check what features have
changed in an application before deploying it? I understand the
frustration, but shouldn't you evaluate a program before releasing it for
general use? If the new version doesn't do what you want, don't deploy it.
I'm not trying to pick a fight, but just make a statement that seems
reasonable to me.
