old email now Word template for all new e-mails?

Paulette

I use Outlook 2000 and recently began getting an old e-
mail at the beginning of every new e-mail I start and also
every time I click 'reply'. I've looked at the normal.dot
template in Word -- it appears to be blank. Where is this
old e-mail living that it pastes itself on all new emails
and replys?

Many thanks,

Paulette

See if you can find an email.dot file -- I think that's what WordMail in
Office 2000 used for mail messages, rather than normal.dot.

Jocelyn,

Thanks for the advice. I went into Word, Tools/Options/E-
mail options and found that somehow I'd placed the old e-
mail in 'Signature 1'. I deleted Signature 1 and
put 'none' in place of signature options. Seems to have
fixed my problem. I was just told my our System
Coordinator that this problem comes up frequently among
users in our company and that now I could assist...

Regards,

Paulette
