I have an older version of MS Office, 4.2 Standard, I
believe. I recently purchased a new computer and have
installed from the original disks that old version. My
computer does not seem to run correctly with Office
installed. I still use the old version for church work
and although we have the 2000 version at work, I can start
my PowerPoint presentation and home and then take them to
work to polish. I paid almost $450 for that program and I
have seen updates at almost $350. Do I have to buy an
update to get it to run correctly on my new computer??

Hi Dennis,

I don't have Office 4 installed (I would but I'm missing a couple of disks)
but I don't think you should have a problem. What problems are you
encountering? What operating system are you using?
