I have tried to find an answer to this question before posting it, but
just couldn't.
I am working with Office 2000. I have a Word document that I need to
send to several people in the office. On this document, I pasted an
imaged that was previously copied on another application (a intranet
web display, on which I did a right-click, copy)
The image does not diplay if I do "paste" on the Word Document, so I
figure out that I needed to do "Paste Special" and select "Device
Independent Bitmap".
This will show the image fine on the document, but it will not print.
I send this document by e-mail to another person "Sent to Mail
Receipient". The other person also received the document okay, with
the image showing fine, but when printed the image does not show
(printing from MS-Outlook). In it's place there is an "X" where the
image should be or sometimes we get the Square where the image is
suppose to be, but nothing showing. I already tried working with
"Tools, Options, Picture Place Holders, and with Drawing Objects" by
checking and unchecking these options without any luck.
I believe it has something to do with pictures used in the "Copy &
Paste" process and being OLE Objects.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
