One music tune for entire slide show

I use PowerPoint 2003. The only option that I can find is linking a music
file to a single slide, not the entire show. Can one music file play through
all slides continuously?

Yes. Right click the sound icon of the inserted file, select Custom Animations,
click on the sound object in the Custom Animation task pane and select Effect
options. You'll see settings for when to stop, and how long to play. Set it to
play for 999 slides and you'll have what you want.

Go to the slide where your sound file starts. Open
Custom animations and click on the arrow on the right and
select the Effect option. You can see that there are two
sections at the top. One is for the start point of the
sound fiel and the other is for the end. Select the
third option - 'after --- slides' Just add the number
of slides in yur show.
