OneNote 07 and SharePoint not syncing

I saw a previous post regarding this but no answer.
We are experiencing the "Some sections in this notebook could not be
synchronized." An error occurred while attempting to sync this section or
ntoebook. (Error code: 0xE0040000).
I have deleted the offline cache files and Opened OneNote. It appears fine
initially and then without anyone updating anything, it throws this error.
I have noted that other sections of the notebook seem to sync fine, just
this one section. Is there a limit to the size or number of pages contained
within a section? This section does have a number of pictures and tables in
it.
We are up to date with all software patches through June 08- running XP,
Sharepoint.

Do you also get this error if you use the SharePoint web UI to download
the section to a local notebook? If not, what happens if you use
File->SaveAs to save another local copy of the section, and then upload
it to SharePoint?

There is no limit to the size or number of pages. If there is a large
number of images in the section, is it possible that your server is
running out of quota or disk space? If it's close to out of space, try
to free up some space to see if that resolves the error. Make sure to
check the SharePoint recycle bin and past versions - those locations can
sometimes clog up all your drive space if you leave these features on
for libraries containing OneNote notebooks.

Thank you - I will have our server manager check the sharepoint recycle bin.
I do not know if it is turned on or not but it is a good thing to check.
Appreciate your assistance.
