oneNote 2007 pen mode not working

I cannot use pen mode in oneNote 2007. As soon as I click my mouse or my
tablet, the pen mode tool just grey out and I can't draw anything.

can someone plese help?

This once happened to me when I had a lot of programs open and had not
restarted my Toshiba M400 for a long time. As soon as I cleared out some of
the programs running I got less flaky behavior. In my case I could not select
pen mode: the second the pen touched the screen it flipped to text mode.

That is exactly what happened to me.The pen worked well until I change
the option in Tools->option->pen. I check the pressure sensitivity and
click OK. Then once I click the pen, it grays out. Even I changed back
to the original option, I$B!!(Bcould never bring the pen back. But the pen
works in all other programs, ppt, acrobat etc.

I use Wacom tablet$B!$(B instead of a tablet pc.
