Hi all,

I just love OneNote and want to purchase, but have never found a product
with such a wide price range on the market.

If I purchase OneNote through Microsoft's American storefront, the price is
$99. If I purchase OneNote from Microsoft's Canadian distributor (i.e. the
one that appears when you choose to buy a license from the 'About...'
dialogue box), the price jumps to $200. Prices in retail stores here in the
city range from $125 to $269, and online retailers such as Amazon.ca sell
OneNote for either $125 or $299.

How confusing. When comparing the prices on Amazon.ca, the $125 version of
the software has an ASIN number of B0002HE2IW , while the $299 version has
an ASIN number of B0000AZJVG . What is the difference between the two?
Which one should I get? (I'm not a student.) Why such a variation in
prices -- even between Microsoft's American and Canadian storefronts

Thanks,
Darryl Staflund

I got my brand new, never used OneNote for $40 on eBay 2 months ago! I still
haven't used it... I'm trying to figure out on which computer to try it out
on.

Thanks for your input everyone. The change in pricing explains a lot so
I've decided to purchase the less expensive version on Amazon.ca.

Cheers,
Darryl
