OneNote side note TOO BIG...

Hello. I know there is a specific forum for OneNote, but I haven't received any replies and I need your help please. I have come to rely heavily on OneNote and it's a beautiful program to work with. Does all and more...But, I'm having trouble with opening a side note in the default size. As I understand ( correct me if I'm wrong), a side note should open on the desktop small and compact. When I either press Window+N keys or click the N on taskbar to create a side note on desktop, it takes up about 1/3 of my desktop. Rearranging my icons and creating havoc in general. If anyone has had this problem or has a fix, I would be most appreciative...Again, Thank you, LWL
