Hi there
We have engaged a programmer who created Excel workbooks using Perl. The
version he used is Excel 5. There were no macros, just pure text calculated
using the Perl script and output to the template.
However, when we try to open the file in Excel 2003, it shows a "File error:
Data may have been lost" error. On close inspection, we found that the
calculation by the Perl script also failed. However, if we open in Excel
2000, everything works perfectly.
Please help as we are in the midst of upgrading.
Thank you.
