open new blank page, but new page isn't blank?

i'm trying to open a new blank page; however, the new
blank page is not blank??? The new blank page is copying
everything from a different page, and when i make changes
to the "new blank page" it changes everything from the
page it copied from, WHY???? Please, someone help me!

You are most likely using Shared Borders (and a Theme) applied to all pages
- by their nature they are applied to all pages in the site when a page is created
To turn them off on a specific page use Format Shared Borders - Selected page, and unselect the ones you don't want (for a Theme use
Format Themes and select Selected page, and the No Theme (none)
