Hello, Can Open Office 1.1.3 be installed on a unit that
has Microsoft Office 2000 installed as default and not

It will install in it's own folder. I have had both for a
period of time on a Windows 2K system with Office 2000.

You might have to reset the defaults for file types afterwards, but that's
easy enough. If you read the screens as you install OO you can say NO to
using OO as the default to open Word/Excel files anyway !
