Opening certain attachments

I have Windows ME and Office 2000 so can open most
attachments. Lately, I have been receiving attachments
with the Microsoft icon with .asf and .wmv and I cannot
open them. I get a message that it has to be found in
Program.exe and I am asked for the location of
Program.exe. Nothing comes up when I search for this
program. I am sure that this was not a problem awhile ago.
I would really appreciate it if someone could help me.

What program do you normally use those files with? Are these attchments from
legitimate senders?
