opening files created in Pub2000 in Pub2002

I have newsletters created in Publisher 2000. I've just
gotten a new computer that has Publisher 2002. It's
taking forever for the images to come up, fonts are
messed up, etc. Just clicking on something can be a
pain. Help anyone.

1. Make sure you have downloaded the latest service pack for Publisher 2002:
http://office.microsoft.com/officeupdate/
Click on Office Update

2. What happens if you open the file in Publisher 2002, then save the file,
then reopen? Does it perform any better?

3. There may be some formatting loss, especially with WordArt, because of
the new file format introduced with Publisher 2002/2003.
