Opening Project Files

Help!!
When I open a saved project file , Project just terminates - no errors , no
event log.
Can create project and save , but cannot re-open saved project!!!
Version:project 2003 Pro , OS : XP Pro

Do you have Service Pack 2 (SP2)? If not, download it from microsoft.com and
apply.

So lets see if this is a .mpp problem or not. Can you create a new project,
then save as an xml file then re-open it? And the same for a .mpd file type?

Hi Rod ,
I cannot open any type of saved project.
I have un-installed Project , reinstalled and reapplied SP2 - still the same
symptoms.
