Here's an interesting situation...
I have a linked spreadsheet.
I have an append query to transfer the data
I have a table to receive the transfer data from the linked spreadsheet. One
specific field is a memo field, called EXCLUSIONS.
The spreadsheet is one coulmn but can have many rows. I have been using this
method for 2 years with no issues, until today...read on!
one field in the spreadsheet has 300+ charactors in it. When I try to run
the query, I get a failed message (...'openquery' for the 'docmd' failed).
If I take the 300+ charactors and made two fields, about 150 charactors in
each, the query runs fine. I thought a memo field allows 65,000+ charactors?
...thoughts...???
Thanks,
David
