Order of First Name / Last Name - Outlook 2003

Dennis Hughes

My Outlook 2003 on my desktop has the contacts and address book with the
last name first. When I insert the entry into my email messages, the first
name is first, like I want it and as it appears in the display name of the
contact form.

On my laptop, running the same Outlook 2003, the contacts/address book has
the last name first, but I can't seem to get the first name first in the
messages, even though the display name is first name first.

I've been through the menus at least 25 times and must be missing the
critical selection.

Any help?

Thanks,

Dennis

Clarify exactly where you want the names to appear First, Last and exactly
how you are entering the addresses. Are you certain that both the Contacts
Folder and the Address Book list in Last, First order? They do not use the
same setting for sorting.
