Ordering Tasks

Is there are way to order tasks so I'll always know which one I should be working on at that moment? I'm using prioritites, but that's not enough, and the kinds of tasks that I'm tracking don't always have due dates (or start dates). It would be nice if I could mark a task that is still in progress with a flag that says that I can go no further with it for the moment (maybe because I am waiting for someone to get back to me). If I could do this, then I'd like the next pressing task to bubble up to the top of my list

Also, is there a way to make on task depend on another

Thanks.

In Outlook XP, I can flag an Outlook Task with "Waiting on someone else" in
the Status field.

You could also play around with Views, which would allow you to sort by
multiple fields, including Date and Status fields.

You can also turn off all sorting in the view and then drag and drop tasks
to reorder them in whatever order you please.
