Hi Jönsson,
MS Org Chart 2.0 lets you work with the older chart formats, but it doesn't have a converter. There was an Org Chart converter in
MS Word 2002/Office XP,
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/293615/en-us?FR=1
but as the feature sets between the old and new Org Chart apps are different the new one didn't pull in everything when doing the
conversion.
(FYI MS Org chart 2.0 is the basic subset of the product from
http://orgplus.com, which you can still use with Word if you prefer
that Org chart app style, and the new one has additional features).
If, in Word, you go to Insert=>Object is "MS Organization Chart 2.0" listed and available and does Orgchart.exe work standalone from
it's location in
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OrgChart ?
If you open an older version (Word 2000?) document in Word 2003 that has an org chart and double click on the org chart does it come
up on Org Chart 2.0 for editing?
There can be some issues in Windows 2000 and/or if you're running Norton or AVG antivirus Office plugins.
You can use Word's outline feature and a macro to generate an org chart in Word 2002 and 2003 then use the layout tools to pretty-up
the look a bit.

Hello
I have installed it, but I can't use it in old documents and can't create
new Charts with it.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/826835/en-us
The new tool works fine in office 2003.
How do I do this ? I would like to convert the old documents charts to the
new.
