OST file handling

Can I create new items in OST file which will be available through OWA as
well. ??

No - OST files are used by the full Outlook client only and can't be
used/accessed in OWA.

OWA has no knowledge of the OST. If you create a new item in Outlook while
offline, it will be placed in the OST and then the next time you sync with
the Exchange server, that item will be copied to the server. At that point
it will then be available in OWA (since OWA is just a web interface to the
Exchange mailbox).
