I read in the Serif forum today that the latest version of PhotoPlus can
now convert RAW images. I presume it will also run under Win 98.

Thanks for the info. And according to the
Serif website...PhotoPlus 6 works on Windows
95/98/98 SE, 2000, NT 4.0, & XP

Couldn't begin to tell you if this is true or not but it does run under
XP Pro. I know I was using PP6 that was released back in Win 95 days and
then I downgraded from Win 98 to 2000. Serif issued a patch so that it
would run under 2000 even though by then, the program was sort of long
in the tooth.

Maybe if other software companies didn't require one to upgrade to the
latest OS to use their latest version, or patched their program so it
will run under the latest OS, they would have a better reputation.
