Don't try to open them; save them to your HD instead. Then use Word (or
other appropriate application) to open them. If this is OE 6.0 and it is
barring you from even seeing attachments, go to Tools | Options | Security
and clear the check box for "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened
that could potentially be a virus."
