Out of Office Assistant

The office assistant can be found under the Help menu on
Office XP. You did not specify which version of Office you
are using.

Thanks for the response. I guess I didn't make myself
clear. I am talking about the Out of Office fuction in
Outlook 2002, not Office Assistant. The Tools menu in
Outlook should list "Out of Office Assistant" on the
menu, but mine doesn't. I have followed the directions in
Help to make this show in the Tools menu, but it still
doesn't.

Are you running Outlook through an Exchange Server? It
might be an option or policy on the server which does not
allow Out of office messages to work. This could then
disable the option in Outlook, but i cannot confirm this
as our system is set up for the use of out of office
messages.

You can only run the Out Of Office Assistant if you are
running outlook with Exchange.
