Outgoing e-mail server connection

I recently changed my e-mail server, but since my old e-mail account still
exists. I have kept it as an e-mail account in Outlook (2003) and continue to
be able to import e-mails. I set up a new e-mail account with the new server
info, and made it the default. However, when I want to reply or forward
e-mail in Outlook that originated on the old e-mail server, Outlook tries to
send it via the old server (which then fails since there is no longer a
connection to that server.) Is there a way to resolve this so that all
outbound e-mails independent of original server location are sent via the new
server?

Open your old account properties and change the sender address (the "E-mail
Address" value) to match that of your new account. Leave the "Logon
Information" and the "Incoming mail server" values as they are. Change the
"Outgoing mail server" to match the new account. Click More Settings,
select the Outgoing Server tab, and enter the credentials needed for your
new account. Now your old account will still receive from the old mailbox,
but will send using the same properties your new account uses.
